The digital industry was at a peak in terms of growth. Digital marketing was one of the most growing fields in the technological industry. When we look into the digital market world, there are lots of changes that are waiting for us. There are many but in my opinion, one of the digital marketing trends 2020 is Voice search. Since last decade digital marketers and SEO specialists were working for page optimization, UI, and UX optimization, but due to voice search came, screen less searches and screen less applications are in trend.

We can estimate the popularity that over 20% of total mobile searches are done by voice search, and this will be increased to 50% by the end of 2022.
So now there is a question of what to do next? How can we improve voice search in digital marketing? Let’s go into deep and understand what voice search is and how it works.

Voice search is an emerging technology, which conducts a voice search with the help of the user’s voice by asking a smart device. There are companies that have invented their technology in terms of voice search. We have some most used technologies like Google Assistant, Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa, Microsoft Cortana, and Samsung Bixby.
That performs voice search by figure out the meaning and find the same one on the internet. It works on a natural language processing system and linking it with the internet.

Now let’s discuss, how voice search will be used in digital marketing?
Till the last decade, laptops and mobiles were the systems people use to interact with the internet. With the invention of personal assistance, the voice becomes the most preferred way to communicate with the internet. The most trigger words in assistant are, “How, What, Is, Best, The, Where, Can, Why, I, Who, Do.”

In 2020, there will be a boom in the field of voice search. Consumers who are using voice search will be increased for business opportunities, transportation, vacation destination, and many.
Improving the UI and UX of the website will going to be outdated soon. If we look at the popularity of voice search, the traditional search will not be in service soon. Nowadays, people use voice search instead of typing on their phone screen.
Today to keep your site on top of SERPs, marketers use keywords, UI and UX implementation, etc. But in the coming time, there will be some changes in how the work will be going on.

• Marketers should improve keywords as their SEO parts but in a different way because there is a difference between voice search and traditional search. Because when a user is searching on the web or voice, it is different.
• For example, if a user is trying to find a location on the web, he will type “What is the distance between two locations.” And on voice search, it will be like “set a location between two places.”
• There must be an improvement of UI and UX on voice search so that the online voice assistant will recognize the search query accurately.
• When a voice search answers a query, the answer is always from the first snippets. So the keywords should be in such a way that your website ranks highest.
• The marketer should work on local SEO also. This can make the search more comfortable with the help of the location.
